The Craft Beer Tour: Beer Lovers Unite

Sea Safari in Howe Sound

Experience the rush of wind, the crash of waves, and the spray of saltwater as you speed through the Strait of Georgia in an inflatable, hard-bottomed zodiac-style boat. This fast-paced, thrilling tour will provide a great vantage point to experience the majestic beauty of Howe Sound and the West Coast.

Guests will suit up and board a boat to find themselves racing beside steep cliffs, exploring caves, and viewing harbor seals at play. Once off the water, guests will board a private motor coach for the 20-minute scenic drive back to downtown Vancouver.

Duration for Group 1: Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Transfer Time for Group 1:  It’s a 30-minute bus ride there; a five-minute walk back to the hotel.

Discover Vancouver by Bike

This tour encompasses Vancouver and highlights the very best natural and urban biking that the city has to offer. It’s a great way to start your visit! The tour includes the best of central Vancouver: Coal Harbor, West End, English Bay, Stanley Park Seawall, and forest trails.

With a “tread lightly” philosophy, guests will casually cruise in small groups, stopping to tell stories en route, seeing the unexpected.  This is an easy ride for beginners with basic fitness ability.  Frequent stops, photo ops, and flat trails make this an enjoyable ride.

Salmon Fishing in Howe Sound

Whether you’re after freshwater or open ocean, British Columbia is a fisherman’s paradise! The Chinook salmon has always been British Columbia’s sport fishing crown jewel. This trophy fish can tip the scales at more than 70 pounds, and promises anglers the fight of their fishing lives.

Guests will fish for Chinook, Sockeye, Steelhead and even the prehistoric Sturgeon in the calm, protected waters around the Strait of Georgia. Experienced guides cater to novice and expert fishers alike, taking care of all the details that are needed for a great day out on the water.

Vancouver Flightseeing: Floatplane Tours

The best way to see all that Vancouver has to offer is from high above the hustle and bustle of the crowds. Vancouver has some breath-taking sights that are best seen from the air, like the Capilano water shed and the back of the North Shore Mountains. Deep Cove and Indian Arm are just a few hidden treasures of the city, best seen in this intimate tour.

Guests will board their floatplane—small propeller planes that hold 10 guests each—in the heart of the city at the waterfront Coal Harbor dock, taxiing into the Burrard Inlet, and taking off for a 30-minute overview of the West Vancouver waterfront, North Shore mountains, and the glacial fjords of Indian Arm.

Duration: Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.; allow one hour for each flight.

Founded in 1997, the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (PICA) is Vancouver’s premier culinary center. This accredited, private culinary institute provides students with world-class training, and was recently voted Best Professional Culinary School in Vancouver.

At the PICA Cooking Class, you will prepare a regionally inspired three-course menu under the direction of a professional chef in a two-hour, hands-on class. Following the class, guests will gather in PICA’s Bistro 101 where they will enjoy their creations.  Wine pairing is included along with the delicious three-course menu.

Explore Capilano Suspension Bridge

A short ride from downtown Vancouver takes you to the city of North Vancouver, gateway to the Coast Mountains and home to the most spectacular views of Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

The North Shore excursion takes guests over the famous Lions Gate Bridge toward the top two attractions in the city. Guests will have ample time to visit Capilano Suspension Bridge before boarding the coach to end their journey and meet the rest of the group at Grouse Mountain for a farewell dinner and evening of true Canadian fun.

Zipline at Grouse Mountain

Guests will arrive to the top of Grouse Mountain by way of an aerial Skyride, highlighting breathtaking views during the fully narrated, eight-minute mini-tour on the enclosed gondola ride.  Guests will visit to the world’s only wind turbine to feature a 360-degree public viewing pod.

The zipline experience features a dual-line, five-line circuit, giving guests an adrenaline-pumping two-hour tour across the peaks and canyons of Grouse and Dam Mountains. Some lines are more than 200 feet off the ground and surrounded by dense, old growth temperate rainforest.
